Martina Zorzón

Martina Zorzón is an artist and educator from the city of Rosario. She is currently working on her thesis for her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the National University of Rosario. Since 2018, she has been part of the teaching staff in the Laboratory I course of the Fine Arts degree program.
Her training is constantly evolving across different spaces and artist workshops in the city and surrounding areas: she has attended training workshops for workshop leaders and teachers with Lucas di Pascuale and Eugenia Gonzalez Mussano; artwork clinics with Daniel García; photography workshops (Creadores de imágenes, Espacio maravilla, Ximena Pereyra, and Julia Briller); experimental photography (Espacio maravilla and Espacio analógico); artwork clinics (La posibilidad de una isla with Gabelich contemporáneo and Beatriz Vignoli, and La vida oblicua with Daniela Rodi); drawing workshops (Un triángulo y una calavera with Pauline Fondevila and Silvia Lenardon, Dibujo with M. Victoria Rodriguez, Dibujo y acuarela with Romina Biassoni, and Asterisca with Lucas Di Pascuale); ceramics (Cerámica Roca and Jardín de invierno); painting (Los caminos de la imagen with Daniel Santoro); and typography printing workshop (Capitana Rosario).
In 2022, she presented "Todo puede ser otra cosa," curated by artist Julia Levstein, at CRUDO. In 2019, she held her first solo exhibition "Desde un agujero de alfiler" at the ECU (Espacio Cultural Universitario) in Rosario.
She has participated in various art fairs such as 3500 Feria de Arte in Resistencia, Chaco (2022); +Feria de Arte in Santa Fe (2021); and PLATEADA Feria in La Plata (2021). Martina was part of the Local 15 gallery at Pasaje Pan (Rosario, Santa Fe, 2018-2019), and since early 2020, she has been part of the CRUDO contemporary art gallery in Rosario, as well as the photographic archive FOTOTECA at the Biblioteca Argentina Dr. Juan Álvarez in Rosario.
She has taken part in numerous exhibitions and collective projects, including "Señales transmediales diálogo y acción," alongside Sonia Bossio (a photographer from Rosario), which was presented at the PLATEADA art fair at Súbita galería de arte in La Plata (2021), at América Elda Nancy, a contemporary art library in Rosario (2022), and was selected by the Fomento Santa Fe program to participate in the Emergentes 2022 exhibition at the Centro de Expresiones Contemporáneas (2022). She also participated in "Jet Lag," a collective exhibition at CRUDO curated by Yuyo Gardiol during the pandemic in dialogue and coexistence with Fepi Farina and text by Hernán Camoletto (2020-2021).
Currently, Martina Zorzón teaches workshops on production and research focusing on drawing and painting practices in Rosario: "Te imaginé en un dibujo de pluma y tinta," a drawing workshop, and "¿Compartimos una pintura?," a painting workshop. Since 2022, she has been managing and developing a workshop space at the Centro Educativo Terapéutico Ford Da, dedicated to artistic practice in the field of mental health. She also shares a studio at CRUDO with various artists from Rosario.
