About Crudo

CRUDO ARTE CONTEMPORÁNEO is an artist-run art gallery located at Italia 1044 in the city of Rosario, Argentina. It serves as a platform to promote the exchange, reflection, and experimentation of contemporary aesthetic practices.

CRUDO was founded in 2014 by Yuyo Gardiol as a space for artistic experimentation, exhibition, and education. In 2018, it transformed into an art gallery while maintaining its original spirit. Since then, its main objectives have been to provide a space for artistic encounter, dialogue, and experimentation; to promote local artistic production through the creation of national and international connections and networks; to build a national art market; and to broaden public access to art and culture within the community.

Among its activities, CRUDO organizes exhibitions, participates in art fairs, offers residency and training programs for artists, hosts lecture series and community activities, and runs an editorial project.

In March 2020, thanks to the support of the Rozenblum Foundation and BSM Art-Building, CRUDO moved to the city center of Rosario, occupying a 700 m² building originally constructed to house a bank.
